Rounds

Video Submission Period: Begins on May 1, 2025 and ends on September 15, 2025.
Peer Review Period: Held between September 17 – 30, 2025.
Final Selection: Finalists will be selected after peer review, and the winner will be announced at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in November 2025.

Prizes

Winner: $250,000 post-secondary scholarship.
Teacher: $50,000 prize for the student's teacher.
School: $100,000 Breakthrough Science Lab for the student’s school.
Popular Vote Prize: Awarded to the student with the most votes in the public voting phase.
