The Doing Good: A UWC Short Course is a hybrid program combining online learning and in-person experiences in Vietnam. Participants explore the concept of "good work" through discussions on ethics and leadership, engage with local communities, and partake in outdoor activities. When is the deadline
Priority deadline: 6 April 2025. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis after the priority deadline, subject to availability.
Date of the Opportunity
7–11 July: Online component—participants engage with facilitators and course materials.
13–23 July: In-person component in Binh Dinh, Vietnam—includes workshops, site visits, volunteering, and outdoor activities.

Complete the online application form, which includes personal information and essay responses. Applicants can indicate their need for financial aid within the form. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis after the priority deadline
For who ?
Ideal for high school students passionate about social change, ethical leadership, and community engagement. The program fosters critical thinking, cultural exchange, and practical skills for making a positive impact.
Eligibility
Open to students aged 15–17 (born between 24 July 2007 and 31 December 2010). Applicants should have a good command of English, be in good health to participate in outdoor activities, and possess valid travel documents for Vietnam.
Tuition
$2,050 USD
Financial aid:
Both full and partial financial aid are available. Financial aid applies to program tuition but does not cover personal transportation or travel insurance.
