Eligibility
High school and university students worldwide. The competition is divided into three age categories:
Junior: 10th grade and below (under 16 years old)
Youth: 11th to 13th grade (under 19 years old)
Senior: University students (19 years and older)
Rounds
Qualification Round: Solve five astronomy problems from home. Deadline: 4 July 2025
Pre-Final Round: Selected participants tackle six more complex problems over four days. Registration Deadline: 12 August 2025 Submission Deadline: 17 August 2025
Final Round: A supervised online exam with twenty questions. Exam Date: 9 September 2025

Finalists: Finalist Certificate (Bronze, Silver, or Gold Honour)
Youth Category (High School):
1st Prize: Signed Telescope + $50
2nd Prize: $100
3rd Prize: $50
Junior Category:
1st Prize: $125
2nd Prize: $75
3rd Prize: $25
National Awards: Top three students from each country receive special recognition.
